SPAGHETTI SAUCE WITH MEATBALLS &
SAUSAGE
 
SAUCE:

1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. oil
Sausage, cut up (opt.)
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, blended
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. sugar
Red pepper seeds to taste

MEATBALLS:

1 lb. hamburg
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg

Mix ingredients, shape into small balls. Cook over medium heat until browned. Add to sauce.

SAUCE: Saute garlic, onion, parsley and sausage in oil in large kettle. Drain, add tomatoes, sauce, paste, water and seasonings. Simmer 3 hours. Add meatballs. Simmer 1 hour.
