BLACK WALNUT POUND CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. milk 3 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. Crisco 6 eggs 3 c. plain flour 2/3 c. self-rising flour 1 tsp. vanilla Pinch of salt 1 c. walnuts Preheat oven to 275 degrees or 300 degrees. Bake 1 hour. FROSTING: 8 oz. cream cheese 1 stick butter 1 box confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped Cream Crisco and sugar until fluffy. Add milk. Beat eggs, flavoring and walnuts 3 minutes. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add enough milk to spread. |
