AUSTRALIAN ANZACS 
2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. golden syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. boiling water
1/2 c. melted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oats, sugar and flour. Mix golden syrup, soda and boiling water. While frothing, add melted butter and pour into dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls onto floured oven tray, allowing room for mixture to spread. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool.
