HICKORY NUT COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Beat until fluffy.

1 1/4 c. flour plus 1 tsp.
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. hickory nuts

Using 1 teaspoon dough for each cookie, flatten. Bake at 350 degrees. Watch carefully to avoid getting too brown. Mmmm!
