MARINATED BROCCOLI STEMS 
Stems from 1 big bunch of broccoli
1 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. oriental sesame seed oil
1 tbsp. vegetable oil

Slice stems of raw broccoli into thin circles and marinate overnight in the above mixture. Serve on salad bar as a topping.

These will keep for several days in your refrigerator and add a wonderful flavor to tossed salad. You can almost leave off the dressing and use this to flavor your salad instead!
