1 lb. ground chuck 1 med. onion 1/2 tbsp. pepper 1 tbsp. salt 2 tbsp. oregano 2 tbsp. garlic powder 16 oz. can tomato sauce 1 med. green pepper (optional) 8 oz. barbecue sauce Brown meat in large skillet. Drain all excess fat. Add finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Add tomato sauce, green pepper sliced lengthwise, and barbecue sauce. Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour. Stir occasionally. Serves 4. |
