3/4 c. cornstarch 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. water 1 egg, slightly beaten Mix together. Stir until smooth. Dip small chunks of cod into batter and deep fry until golden brown at 375 degrees. May be dipped into following sauces. COCKTAIL SAUCE: 1 c. ketchup 2 tbsp. sweet pickle relish TARTAR SAUCE: 1 c. Miracle Whip 2 tbsp. sweet pickle relish |
