SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. solid Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 lg. or 6 med. eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream first 4 ingredients until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together 3 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and pinch of salt. Add alternately to first mixture with 1/4 cup milk. Mix in 1 teaspoon lemon extract and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Beat batter very thoroughly. Pour into well-greased and floured tube mold. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
