AMARETTO LIQUEUR 
1 3/4 c. vodka
3 tsp. almond extract
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. basic syrup

BASIC SYRUP:

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 c. water

Make basic syrup by heating ingredients to boiling, then simmering 5 minutes. Cool.

Make liqueur by mixing together vodka, almond extract, vanilla and basic syrup. Put in an empty liquor bottle. Store in cool, dark place. Will be ready in 1 week.
