HEARTY ITALIAN SOUP 
1 lb. mild or Italian pork sausage
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
28 oz. can tomatoes
2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. or 3 cubes chicken bouillon
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 c. small shaped macaroni
Shredded Mozzarella
Cheddar or American cheese

In Dutch oven brown sausage, green pepper and onion. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except macaroni and cheese. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in macaroni.

Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until macaroni is tender. Top individual servings with cheese. Makes 8 cups. Tip: 1 pound link Italian sausage may be used, cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
