HEARTY ITALIAN SOUP 
2/3 c. ground beef
2 med. carrots
1 stalk celery
1 c. tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans
1 sm. onion
3 or 4 green onions
30-35 pieces spaghetti
1 tsp. garlic (ground)
1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1 sm. potato

Bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add ground beef after crumbling into small pieces. Cut carrots, celery, onion, and potato into slivers about the size of a sweet pea pod. Add tomatoes, beans, and seasonings.

Break spaghetti into 2-3 inch pieces; add to soup. Cook until vegetables are tender. Mmmmmm!
