HEARTY ITALIAN SOUP 
1 lb. mild bulk Italian pork sausage
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
28 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (8 oz.) cans water
1 tbsp. granulated or 3 cubes chicken bouillon
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 c. sm. shaped macaroni, such as rings or shells, shredded
Mozzarella, Cheddar or American cheese

In Dutch oven or large saucepan, brown sausage, green pepper, and onion; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except macaroni and cheese. Cover, simmer 15 minutes. Stir in macaroni; cover and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Top individual servings with cheese. (We used Mozzarella cheese; everyone liked it!)
