CREAMY SUCCOTASH | |
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn 1/2 c. milk 4 tsp. flour 1 tbsp. butter Cook lima beans covered in the water seasoned with salt and pepper for 10 minutes. Add corn. Return to boiling. Reduce heat and cover and cook 5 minutes more. DO NOT DRAIN. Gradually stir in milk into flour; stir into vegetables in saucepan. Add butter. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, then cook about 2 minutes more. Makes 6 servings. |
