CHERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1 c. creamery butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 c. flour, plain
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. candied cherries, halved

Cream butter and sugar; add egg and flour. Stir in nuts and cherries. Form into 2 rolls and refrigerate overnight. Slice thinly. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
