1 lg. onion
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. plain corn meal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
1 can (sm.) whole kernel corn (drained)
1 egg
2 to 3 jalapeno peppers
1 tsp. seafood seasoning
Buttermilk to blend

Mix all ingredients together then drop by teaspoon into hot grease, until browned.
