MEAT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. red pepper or may use green chili
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted
Longhorn or Cheddar cheese

Saute beef with onion and spices. Add green chili if desired. Place cooked beef on the sheet of puffy pastry. Add cheese as much as desired. Fold over pastry sheet and crimp edges with fork to seal. Brush top with beaten egg. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes, or until top is browned and puffed.
