JAMAICA MEAT PATTIES 
1 1/2 lbs. ground meat
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. season salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. curry powder
1 tbsp. flour

Scramble beef. Drain off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes. Cool.

PASTRY:

8 oz. cream cheese
2 1/2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. salt

Cream the cream cheese and butter well. Add salt and flour. Chill about 45 minutes. Take about 2 inch ball and flatten into a small circle. Put a heaping teaspoon of filling on one half of pastry circle, fold over and press around the edges with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
