SUET PUDDING 
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
4 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. suet
1 c. raisins
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. nutmeg

Beat egg, add sugar and salt and nutmeg. Sift flour and baking powder together and add milk with flour alternately. Mix in suet and raisins. Steam about 3 hours.

SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Thicken with about 2 tablespoons cornstarch and boil.
