NOVA SCOTIA SUET PUDDING 
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground ginger
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg

Sift the above ingredients together and add the following: 1 c. milk Raisins 1 jar mince meat 1 tsp. vanilla 3 beaten eggs

Mix well until creamy. Pour into a well-greased mold (use butter) and cover. Place a rack in a deep kettle. Set mold on the rack. Add boiling water until 3/4 way up on the mold. Cover and steam for 6 hours. Keep water level at 3/4 mold height during boiling. Serve with hard sauce or vanilla sauce with rum or brandy or any sweet sauce to your liking.
