SUET PUDDING OR PLUM PUDDING 
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. molasses
1 c. suet
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 c. raisins

Steam the above 3-4 hours.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
Butter the size of egg
1 egg
2 tbsp. flour, mixed with water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. water

Cream sugar, butter, and egg; add remaining ingredients. Low heat, stir constantly. Do not let it boil. Serve over the pudding.
