BEEF STEW 
3 lbs. stew meat
1 can onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water

Do not brown meat, just put in large kettle and season meat. Pour soups and water over stew meat and stir up. Add 1 large onion, carrots, and potatoes. Put lid on kettle and cook in 325 degree oven for 3 hours. One hour before finished add celery and 1 can of mushrooms. 20 minutes before finished, add 1/3 cup dry red wine. Delicious served over rice. (I usually double recipe so we can have several meals). Serves 5.
