APPLE CRISP 
4 c. peeled and sliced apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. oatmeal (quick cooking)
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Place apples in a 9 inch, heat resistant, non-metallic pie pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Heat, covered, in microwave for 2 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients in a small, heat-resistant, non-metallic bowl. Heat, uncovered, in microwave for 2 minutes, stirring after the first minute. Cool slightly. Sprinkle topping mixture over apples. Heat, uncovered, in microwave for 8-9 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp. Turn pie pan 1/4 turn after each 2 minutes cooking time.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
