2 c. milk
3/4 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
Pinch of salt

Mix and heat but don't boil the milk, butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Mix together cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar and salt. Stir into first mixture and pour into a baked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg.
