LASAGNA 
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 lb. hamburger
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. fennel seed
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
28 oz. tomato sauce
12 oz. tomato paste
12 oz. cottage cheese
1 egg
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 lb. mozzarella cheese
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
10 lasagna noodles

Fry meat, drain. Add onion and garlic. Simmer 5 minutes; add next 7 ingredients to meat, simmer 20 minutes.

Combine cottage cheese, egg and parsley flakes. Boil noodles. Take 9 x 13 inch pan, spread 1 cup of mixture in bottom of pan, layer 5 noodles, half of meat, 1/2 of cottage cheese, half of mozzarella and 1/2 Parmesan, repeat layers, cover with tin foil and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove foil. Bake for 25 more minutes. Remove from oven, let sit 10 minutes.
