PEACH PRESERVES 
9 c. sliced peaches
3/4 c. water
6 c. sugar

Cook the peaches in the water for about 5 minutes. Keep on low heat. Drain off juice and add sugar. Boil until it makes a thread then add peaches and cook very rapidly for 10 to 12 minutes. Pack in scalded jars and seal.
