6-8 pork chips
2 lb. sauerkraut
6 lg. potatoes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. pepper
2 c. water
1/4 c. parsley flakes
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. paprika

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lay sauerkraut on bottom of dish. Place pork chops with all fat trimmed on top of sauerkraut. Peel and quarter potatoes. Shake potatoes in bowl with small amount of parsley flakes. Shake paprika generously over pork chops. Place potatoes over chops and salt and pepper entire dish. Sprinkle nutmeg sparingly and add 1 cup water. Bake 20 minutes. Add second cup of water and continue to bake another 40 minutes.
