4-LAYER CAKE 
CRUST LAYER:

1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. pecans

Mix together and press into 9x13x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees until golden. Let cool completely.

CREAM CHEESE LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. Cool Whip (I buy 12 oz. size)
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and spread over cooled crust.

CHOCOLATE PUDDING LAYER:

1 sm. pkg. Jello instant chocolate pudding
1 1/2 c. milk

Mix together and spread over cream cheese layer.

VANILLA PUDDING LAYER:

1 sm. pkg. Jello instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk

Mix together and spread over chocolate pudding layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip and garnish with shaved chocolate.
