1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 sq. chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. sour milk
1 c. chopped walnuts
4 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream together shortening, sugars, eggs, chocolate, vanilla and salt. Dissolve soda in sour milk and add to above mixture. Add walnuts, then flour and baking powder which have been sifted together. Shape into 2 inch diameter rolls and chill until firm. Slice and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
