HAM AND ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. 1/2" noodles
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c. ham, cooked and diced
1 (6 oz.) can mushroom slices, drained
1 (18 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus cuts, cooked and drained

Cook noodles and drain. In saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk. Stir mixture until it begins to thicken. Stir in cheese until it melts. In a 2-quart baking dish, place 1/2 of the cooked noodles. Place ham, asparagus, mushrooms and 1/2 of cheese sauce on top of noodles. Then, add rest of noodles and top with remaining cheese sauce. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 25 minutes. Serves 4.
