APRICOT FIZZ & CITRUS COOLER 
Preparation time: about 5 minutes. Serves: 4. Chilling time: 2 to 3 hours (Citrus Cooler).

APRICOT FIZZ:

2 cans (12 oz. each) apricot nectar
2 cans (12 oz. each) ginger ale
Lemon juice
Sugar

1. Chill apricot nectar and ginger ale well.

2. When ready to serve, combine the nectar and ginger ale. Dip rims of glasses into lemon juice, then into sugar. Pour in Apricot Fizz and serve.

CITRUS COOLER:

1/2 to 3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. fresh mint leaves, coarsely chopped
4 c. lemonade (see Tips)
Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 1 grapefruit
Juice of 1 lime
1 can (6 oz.) pineapple juice
2 tbsp. maraschino juice (opt.)
Orange strips & mint sprigs for garnish

1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Pour over mint leaves in a bowl. Cover. Let steep 10 to 20 minutes. Strain.

2. Meanwhile, combien remaining juices in a pitcher. Stir in sugar-mint syrup. Cover. Chill 2 to 3 hours.

3. When ready to serve, pour into individual glasses. Garnish with orange strips and mint sprigs.

TIPS: For the lemonade, prepare 1 large can frozen lemonade according to package directions. Measure out 4 cups.
