CHERRY SURPRISE 
2 c. cherry pie filling
1 box yellow or white cake mix
2 sticks butter
2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Grease a 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Spread cherry pie filling to cover bottom of pan. Pour cake mix (dry) over pie filling. Sprinkle nuts over cake mix. Melt 2 sticks butter and pour over cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until done.
