BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
3 lb. country style spareribs
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco sauce

Place ribs in shallow baking pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Drain off excess fat.

Combine the tomato sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce and pour over spareribs. Continue baking uncovered for 45 minutes more or until tender. Turn meat once.
