DILL PICKLES KOSHER STYLE 
30 med. cucumbers
3 c. vinegar
3 c. water
6 tbsp. salt
Fresh or dry dill
Garlic

Make a brine of vinegar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil. Place a layer of dill and 1/2 to 1 clove garlic in a jar and 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed. Halfway, add more dill.

Pack to 1/2-inch of top with boiling brine. Process 5 minutes in boiling bath or heat cucumbers in boiling brine just until heated through until they turn color slightly (not too long). Then pack in jars. That eliminates hot water bath.
