1 heaping c. shortening
3 c. flour
1 egg
5 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt

Cut shortening into flour; make a well in center. Beat together remaining ingredients and pour into flour. Blend with fork. Roll out.
