3 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. ice water

Cut shortening into flour; beat egg. Add vinegar and water together. Add to flour mixture. Chill before using. Makes two large pie crusts.
