1 c. sour milk
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg

Cream sugar and shortening. Sift flour, measure and sift with baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Beat thoroughly. Pour into well oiled loaf pan. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 45 to 50 minutes.
