2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare Streusel. Beat remaining ingredients in large bowl for 30 seconds. Mix well on medium speed or 2 minutes. Pour half of batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle with half of the Streusel. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining Streusel. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

STREUSEL TOPPING
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
1/4 c. flour
3 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients until crumbly.
