CHERRY STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour, baking powder and salt to butter/sugar/egg mixture. Dough will be very stiff.

Spread 3/4 of dough in greased 9x13 pan. Pour filling down center and spread to edge. Drop remaining dough and spread. (Not easy to spread. Take spoonful at a time and stretch it placing on top.)

Mix topping and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
