MICROWAVE CHERRY FUDGE 
1 box (1 lb.) powdered sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
Dash salt
1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
1 c. pecans
1 jar cherries

Chop pecans and cherries. Drain cherries. Set aside. Put sugar, cocoa and salt in bowl. Place milk and butter on top of dry ingredients. Cook 2 1/2 minutes in microwave. Stir in nuts, cherries and vanilla. Pour into buttered dish. Chill, cut into squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
