NUT TASSIES 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 lb. butter, softened
1 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Mix first 3 ingredients into a dough and chill 1 hour. Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls and press into tiny muffin pans to form shells. Mix the next 5 ingredients and fill the shells. Bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
