GOURMET MEAT BALLS 
2 lbs. lean ground round
1 c. bread crumbs
1 pkg. Lipton's Onion Soup Mix
3 eggs

Combine well and shape into balls of desired size. (I prefer small ones.)

SAUCE:

Mix and simmer 20 minutes: 1 c. water 1 c. sugar 1 can whole cranberry sauce or jellied cranberry sauce 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained

Pour a thin layer of sauce in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place meat balls on sauce and top with remaining sauce. Bake 1 hour, 350 degrees. (45-50 meat balls.)

NOTE: Do not brown meat balls before baking.
