HOMEMADE MINCEMEAT 
1 lb. lean meat
1/4 lb. suet
3 lbs. apples
1 (15 oz.) pkg. seedless raisins
1 (15 oz.) pkg. seeded raisins
1 (11 oz.) pkg. currants
1 lb. brown sugar
1 pt. apple cider
1/2 c. cold coffee
1 tbsp. cinnamon, cloves & salt
1 tsp. allspice & nutmeg

Add 2 cups water to meat. Cook slowly until tender. Reserve broth, grind meat and apples; rinse and drain raisins and currants; combine all ingredients. Boil slowly until apples are tender and mixture is thick.
