GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1/2 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
6 tbsp. sugar

Combine these four.

Bring to a boil and cook until mixture thickens. Add 2 tablespoons bacon grease.

Boil 3 to 5 pounds small red potatoes until done. Let cool and peel off skins. Slice into bowl. Add a little chopped onion, some salt and pepper as desired, and some crumbled bacon, about 5 slices which has been fried. Pour dressing over potatoes, mix well. Put some slices of hard boiled eggs on top. Should stand for a while so potatoes absorb the dressing.
