PICADILLO 
1 lb. ground meat (hamburger)
2 sm. potatoes, diced
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 tsp. ground cumin powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. green pepper, diced
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown the meat with the garlic powder, drain all the drippings. Leave very little. Add the potatoes, brown at medium heat, add flour, brown the flour, then add the onions, green pepper. Add tomato sauce and water, salt and pepper, stir real well. Cover with tight lid, let cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. (For added taste, add some cilantro leaves while you cook the last 20 minutes.)
