SALT SALMON SCALLOPED POTATOES
(Laksloota Perunoita)
 
4 to 6 potatoes, sliced thin
1/4 lb. salt salmon
1 onion (sliced thin)
Milk
Pepper
Flour
Butter

Put layers of potato, onion and salmon in small pieces in casserole. Sprinkle with pepper and flour and dot with butter. Repeat in layers. Add enough milk until it may be seen through top layer. Bake about 1 to 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees or until potatoes are tender. Serves 6 to 8 persons. Do not add salt as salmon is salty. Some like to put few thin slices of carrots in it also.
