BURGOO 
1 fat hen
5 lb. beef
1/2 gallon potatoes
1/2 gallon cabbage
1/4 gallon onions
1 pkg. carrots
3 stalks celery
1 pt. corn

Cook meat and grind. Cut vegetables in small pieces and cook. Put cooked vegetables into meat broth and add ground meat. Salt and pepper to taste, when almost done add 4 quarts tomato juice and corn. Stir constantly. If mixture gets too thick, add canned chicken or beef broth.
