STIR-N-DROP SUGAR COOKIES 
Beat with fork until well blended 4 eggs. Stir in:

1 1/3 c. cooking oil (vegetable oil)
4 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. grated lemon rind (optional)

Blend in until mixture thickens 1 1/2 cups sugar. Sift together and stir in 4 cups flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt.

Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with greased bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake until a delicate brown.

Remove immediately from baking sheet. Temperature - 400 degrees (moderate hot oven). Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen 3 inch cookies.

Very good recipe. I halfed it and I still had about two dozen cookies. I did not use the lemon grinds but still enjoyed the cookies!
