COLD STRAWBERRY SOUP 
White wine (optional)
Sugar
Lemon juice
Grated lemon peel
Strawberries (frozen or fresh), not already sweetened

Early in the day, blend in 1 cup white wine (optional), 1 cup sugar, 4 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 teaspoons lemon peel in covered blender on medium until all liquids are mixed well. Add strawberries, all but 6, reserve for garnish. Cover and refrigerate.

To serve, place reserved strawberries on top. Makes about 6 servings. This soup can be used before a meal or for dessert. Great for a brunch, especially in the summer.
