BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 
1 c. milk
5 tbsp. flour
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. 10x powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Cook milk and flour in a saucepan over low heat and stir until thick. Let cool completely. In a separate bowl, cream butter, 10x sugar, and vanilla together with an electric mixer. Add cooked mixture to creamed mixture and beat together thoroughly to desired consistency. Makes frosting enough to ice a 2 layer cake.

VARIATION: Add FRESH strawberries to final mixture and beat together for strawberry frosting.
