SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 env. reg. onion soup mix
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
2 lbs. ground beef
1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained and snipped
1 (8 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
3/4 c. chili sauce
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Hot cooked rice

Combine soup and water. Beat in eggs with fork. Add beef, mix well. Shape into 40 meatballs. Combine kraut, cranberry sauce and remaining ingredients. Pour half mixture into bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Brown meatballs, drain, place on top of kraut. Pour remaining sauce over all. Cover with foil and bake in 325 degree oven for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. Serve over hot cooked rice.
